David Puertas
David Puertas was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, on June 27, 1983, National Journalist Day. He studied at the Central University of Venezuela in the School of Education (unfinished)and also studied photography at the Martín Tovar y Tovar School of Fine Arts. He worked for major print media outlets as a photojournalist. He also worked at Venezuela’s most important photo library, the Barquisimeto Photo Library, which has more than 780,000 graphic documents in its archives. Today, he has experience in the field of photography and was also secretary of the Lara section of the Venezuelan Photojournalists’ Circle, with the number 1,552, which accredits him.
