Project Title: Ready’s Night at the Museum
Creator: Keyon Lovett, The ArtSchool Dropout

Ready’s Night at the Museum is more than just a children’s book—it’s an entry point into art history that feels fun, relatable, and built with our kids in mind. The story follows Ready the Rat, a character I created to reflect the underdog, as he explores a museum full of iconic works by diverse artists. Through his eyes, kids learn about creativity, culture, and legacy in a way that feels natural, not forced.

But we didn’t stop with the book. We’re building a mobile museum experience that mirrors the one Ready walks through in the story. This traveling exhibit can be set up at schools, libraries, and community centers, bringing the gallery directly to the students. It’s hands-on, interactive, and rooted in representation—because every kid deserves to see themselves in art spaces.

Whether it’s through the pages of the book or walking through the mobile gallery, Ready’s Night at the Museum is here to make sure young people don’t just learn about art—they feel a part of it.
