
Royce Stephens
Royce Stephens is a visionary nonprofit leader, public health professional, and social entrepreneur committed to transforming communities through innovation, equity, and youth Empowerment. As Executive Director of D.R.E.A.M.S. (Developing Respectful Educated Aspiring Minds with Sports), Royce has spent over 20 years building programs that uplift youth through urban agriculture, education, workforce development, and leadership training. His newest venture—a mission driven agribusiness—will serve as a social enterprise designed to generate sustainable revenue for Green DREAMS and other youth-centered programs.
Royce also serves as the Director of Survey and Cohort Administration at Michigan State University, where he oversees major public health initiatives that amplify community voices and improve health outcomes in Flint. His role includes strategic planning, operations management, team leadership, and systems improvement—all of which strengthen his ability to build scalable, impact-driven enterprises. Deeply rooted in civic and spiritual leadership, Royce is the Chairman of the Genesee County Democratic Party Black Caucus, Chairman of the Men’s Ministry, and a member of the Deacon Board at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church. He holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Michigan–Flint and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications fromAuburn University Montgomery. Through his social enterprise pitch, Royce seeks to combine sustainability, entrepreneurship,and youth development to create lasting change in Flint and beyond.
