Laura Martin

Laura Martin currently works at the University of Michigan-Flint in the Office of K12 Partnerships creating fun and exciting programming for students in mid-Michigan. She is currently working on her Master of Public Administration where she is focusing on nonprofit devoted to the disabled community.

Since the pandemic, the cost of weddings has increased dramatically, pricing many people out of having the day of their dreams. Laura’s idea is to create a DIY Party/Wedding Closet where brides and party planners can borrow used and donated linens, china, and decorations, as well as learn flower arranging and tablescape design. Because everyone deserves a beautiful celebration.
